So, it’s Saturday, and you’re about to go on a brunch date with a guy or girl you met on Tinder.
Get a load of this millennial.
I bet you are going to order the avocado toast, aren’t you?
Can’t blame you – it is freaking delicious. That being said, there goes the home of your dreams.
Worth it. Yum.
Anyway, I believe that the dynamics between men and women will always be a fun and fascinating one, and it’s one worth exploring.
Chris Rock has a comedy bit where he says that when you meet someone for the first time, you’re not meeting that person — you’re meeting his or her representative.
Imagine going on a date with the Chris Rock representative.
And there is definitely a lot of truth to that. There is a little bit of sales in everything and the dating scene is no exception.
In the process of meeting someone on a date, you are trying to put forth your best self, but so is the other person.

If you are really, really into classic cocktails and the other person does not like drinking, that is probably something you want to know sooner rather than later.
Because what kind of monster doesn’t enjoy a delicious Old Fashioned cocktail?
Or eight. Whatever. They were two-for-one.
I am not mentally strong enough to say no to that.
I guess what I’m saying is this – throughout the years, I have found that the most attractive qualities in a person, besides someone who is visibly comfortable in his or her own skin, are knowing who you are as an individual and not compromising who you are for anyone.
That not only applies to the dating world, but to all aspects of life.
I’m pretty much your psychologist now. Please pay me. Ok, time is up for this week’s session, but let’s do this again. Same time next week.
Disclaimer: If you’re crushing it in the dating world, then don’t change anything. Obvi.
Not everyone is a rock star like you, Jeremy.
